for every windows except Vista:

Put a picture on your desktop and RIGHT CLICK and open it with MS PAINT. Go to image>strech/skew and put in a small percentqge like 25%. Save it...do that until it's 125k or smaller...Once you get the picture that size, go over to a free photo service like www.photobucket.com. Set up an album (it is free) and while setting it up you can have some code display below each picture after you download the picture to the album. Choose the type of code that begins and ends with [IMG]. You can paste this code into a post, your signature or any other place on the web that accepts code for pics. Paste the code to a post and it will apeear when you hit submit.

An alternative for resizing pics is a bit more elegant and automatic. It actaully changes your windows program and adds a Microsoft "plug-in" which is a mini program. Take all your digtal pics in the largest size you can - this program will actually insert itself in your windows system menu when you RIGHT click a picture. get the MS program here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

look down the right side for "RESIZER" - - download and run it...it will load and disappear - you are done. Now find the pic you want to resize in a folder and right click on it - added to the windows menu you will see "resize pic" - go from there it will put a smaller copy of the pic in the same folder at the bottom.
