Many pics from "Relentless" for 2009 OBX fish and fest....Caution Dialup guys
Unfortunally, the weather did NOT cooperate for this year's spring Fish and Fest. We did get out tuesday a little late and fished all day, but that was it for the rest of the week. Thx to Mike from Georgia for crewing with us tues. We all caught fish on tues. and it turned out pretty good for all the boats that fished that day. We caught 2 tuna(biggest weighed 37# after being bled), and 4 nice gaffers that were all caught off a weedline. There were some marlin and gaffers caught from the other 2 boats (Jeff and Mark on their Contenders)that fished this week. Tues was the only day we fished, but I believe Mark ,Alan, Josh, and Jeff fished sunday. I enjoyed meeting Matt Honeycutt, Mike G, Jeff, and Alex and seeing Mark, Josh, Alan, and Dave again. Lots of pics below, some from fishing on tuesday, and some from just sightseeing the rest of the week as we couldn't fish. Special thx goes to Dave and his wfe Linda for having the cookout over at their house. Linda was a trip!! I wish we could have fished more guys, but we had a great time!!
Nice job Dave. Beautiful pics. That was a nice day. I had a blast.... but I'll let captain Mark tell that story. I talked to them yesterday and they are trying to get one more day in.

Funny picture of Tabatha with the fishing belt on. I didn't realize she had that on when you showed it to me in the view finder of the camera. She was ready to go when the reel screamed!
She's learned that with 6 lines fishing and only 2-3 people on board, that when a fish or 4 hits, she needs to be ready to go. For her size, she can put a hurting on a fish!
