Courtesy Vessel Exam

I am now qualified to perform Coast Guard Vessel Safety Checks and issue the Sticker. If any of you coming to the Fest are interested, let me know. Couple of common items to be sure of:
dates on flares; throwable cushion/life ring that is accessable; 2 placards-trash and oil pollution: If your head has y-valve or thru hull be sure it is disabled with lock,handle removed or "secured" like with a tie wrap,etc...Check lights...

Thanks, West Marine was out of replacement 12 g flares so I'll check later today or tomorrow as my kit expired in 2005!
