You Thoughts...
If I remember correctly the registration for previous events was somewhere around $30.00. If I am correct excellent. Well here are my thoughts.
Let's say I am correct with the $30.00 from previous years. (Money towards charities & for cookout / BBQ)
What if we were to raise the registration amount to $45.00 each and with this you would get the same about, but also a special T-Shirt designed specifically for the event. I'm thinking we could go the FJ & have her contact Gordon design us a cool logo for some shirts.
Tell me your thoughts, if that's no cool I think I am still going to order the shirts and sell them at the event.
Let me know,
Matt

$45.00 food and a T-Shirt.
I am thinking about maybe getting a local BBQ Place (High Cotton) or similiar to supply some BBQ, Slaw, Beans, Chicken, The Whole nine for a dinner the first night.
As we get a little closer I am going to ask my company if they could possibly supply a large home for us to host the "welcome dinner" in.

I again was the "money keeper" for the event last spring and the "fee" was $50.00 per angler. The money was to be divided between BBQ expenses, Wiley from THT for hosting expenses, and the rest to the charity we have supported for 4 years now. Wiley decided to not take his share, so the expenses for the BBQ supplies were deducted and the rest, $1550.00, went to charity. Everyone seemed comfortable with the fee last spring, so I would "vote" to keep it the same.

Paul,
I was just trying to find a way to maybe raise some more money with T-Shirt Sales. I know that all tournaments I fish I always buy a T-shirt sometimes for upwards of $20.00.
I will have to work on this and decide if we should include a T-Shirt with the cost or sell them on the side.

I like the t-shirt idea! Might be tough placing a small order though?

I'm with Paul on the fee.
Then sell the shirts on the side. just don't forget the Koozies and stickers.

As Paul said the fee was $50.00 per person but some of my cheap ass crew members thought it was only for the entry to the tournament so they did'nt pay up. It coast me $200.00 to cover for there sorry asses. I'm not complaing about that because it all went to a good cause.
I think that it should be specified as $50.00 per person no matter what and if canceled for whatever reason ..TUFF SH*T..........the money will still be donated.

Alright then.. We will go with $50.00 each person. I will then find out about shirts and see who is interested. If I think it is worth it, I will look into it.
