Having your lifejackets on board and not wearing them is like putting your seatbelt on during a car accident.

August is more of a transition month here, mostly you're just picking up bailer dolphin, but no real meat to say, except a chance at some sails.

We've determined the real action is during the posted dates from past fishing expeditions over the course of a few years, so shift your vacation dates if at all possible, and sign up!

Question

Guys, I'm sort of in a dilema. I plan on fishing in the event this june. I just don't know whether I'll have a boat then or not. Projected purchase sometime around april-june. My wife also plans on fishing this event so... Right now I don't really know whether to sign up with someone or what. Any suggestions??

No dealer. Probally going to buy used unless I can get a dealer to come way off his price. That's my projected buy date, not a dealers

I'd say sign up and reserve a spot now, and explain to the captain your intentions.

These things always change at the last minute, and we tend to try and work with each other come crunch time.

Probally either a cape horn or a contender. depends on the deal I find. I'll probally know a bit more about what I'll be doing by early may. If I haven't picked up a boat by then, I'll probally just crew with someone. To be honest, it'd probally be easier to just crew with someone anyway and that way there'd be no rush. I should have a better idea by mar or april.
