Default Sick to my stomach...

I've got bad news guys, I'm not going to be able to fish with yall. My boss has "taken away" my days off I had planned and is forcing me to work this weekend. His reasoning is pretty lame especially because we have plenty of people here and minus one person wouldn't hurt. I've asked him is there's anything I can do to have off and he just won't budge.

I would still like to make a donation to charity, how might I go about doing that since I won't be present @ OBX?

Sorry I had to bail on yall like this.

I have now gone down from a 5 man crew to a 3 man crew (including myself). If anybody is overloaded and has someone that would like to cross-deck let me know.

If not, I guess I will have to suck it up and just fight more fish myself.

Don't show up for work, then show up for work when you get back from fishing, and explain that you were exhausted (from working so hard) when he said you couldn't have the days off from work, and that there must have been a communication issue.

Explain that you had the time approved, but he didn't give you a written notice, so therefore you won't be held liable. Take it to the human relations dept if boss gives you crap.

Guaranteed they won't fire you.

Haven't you ever seen Office Space?????

Don't feel bad, now I'm down to 3 men on Friday, that includes me and my boy. I'm at 3 on Sat also.

DAWIGGS is overloaded, so we though we'd shuffle some off his or fernando's boat to the others.

We'll have to do some working it out at the docks on thursday.

You guys stop being wussies, and just quit the job and go fishing. Get your priorities straight!

Haha...my boss knows I want to go fishing. Another thing, my dad is management here in the company so it looks REAL bad if a manager's son just disobey's his boss to go fish. I'm gonna keep pestering him...maybe he won't want to see me and just send me home for a couple days. I've already got everything packed and ready to go down the road....I can't believe he just told me I couldn't go.

As far as a written notice, I'm salary here which means they can do pretty much whatever to me, whenever they feel the need. Kinda sucks...

Are there any nuclear plants around OBX? That'd be an awesome career change....but I probably wouldn't be able to keep the job for very long cause I'd be fishing all the time! Haha

Yeah, I would like to. That's what this was all about in the first place, right?

Also, anyway you could mail my t-shirt I ordered?
