KISS I agree. $10/head is reasonable IMHO. A lot of us are only fishing Friday & Saturday though.

Default input!

I think it should be 3 species! tuna (any),wahoo and dolphin.
$50.00 to $100. per boat (per catagory)
1st, 2nd & 3rd place payout
50%, 30% & 20%

This way the boat can work it out with the anglers aboard. 9 different payouts, gives a lot of chances to everyone! Remember it's all ABOUT THE FUN! make it exciting for everyone.
only rule should be the fish needs to be weighed and recored at broad creek, with Jr., karen or there staff as a offical weigh master. (if they would agree to do it)

300. is a long ways off from the $8000. registration fee for the orgeon inlet tuna round up going on today & tomm.
I too think it should be for friday and saturday, if these are the days most are fishing.
Just a few thoughts!
ps. any thoughts on a set vhf channel for those fishing? or maybe a few selected check in times?
look forward to a few days on fun on the water!
Jim

+1 for Chris's idea

Also, the VHF channel and a few selected check in times to see where the action is would be a good idea.

+ 2 for Chris. Money will be tight with gas, bait, ice, and lodging.

Okay........First off........Lets' go with Chris and Marks idea.............$10.00 per person..........Largets TUNA and DOLPHIN...........Keep it simple. If someone get a Wahoo......more power to them. If someone releases a Marlin.......they get bragging rights.
I also agree with Jonafare on the days FRIDAY and SATURDAY....We will have the pay out on Saturday night at the dinner. Matt will eventually get a plaque made with the winners name on it.
Remember it's all about having fun..........

Sparky
Don't you even think about bringing bear on the boat. This is serious shit now.

My .02 cents is keep it simple and affordable!! Pay on largest dolphin and tuna ( marlin and wahoo will be rare and you get braggin rights)..Friday and Saturday Fishing!Because of the different # of anglers on boats, I suggest a flat rate per boat to level the field not to exceed $XX.00 /boat.. Let the winning boats divide the money however they choose! This is not a tournment, but a fun fishing get together to promote fellowship and benefit charity!!
Regards and have Fun!
