Default What a meat haul today...

Most of you guys got this Pm, but I just saw the photo on the OIFC website.

Mr. Bill caught me again at the end of his camera. He snaps the photos faster than he walks, I swear. Nowadays he beats me to the photo ops as I gimp around.

I generally try and stay out of the photo's, but sometimes he catches me on a finger pier perusing the catches.

Today, the catch was tremendous. The fleet was back later than usual, prolly because the boats which went out yesterday had a tough time of it, small craft and all, and they had to find the fish again.

Find them they did. Mahi on top, and a limit of YFT on the bottom of the box. Meaning, they limited out on the early bite, then picked at Mahi for the rest of the day until it was time to go home.

Meat in the freezer.

Pulling all the standard colors today. B/W, P/B.

Yeah I saw the photos just before I got on the forum and its killing me! I fished just south of the point on Monday and got skunked. Not even a dolphin. Started jigging for some peanuts and four cobia came swimming by and couldn't entice them either. Long way to go to come home empty, but we'll get some next time. Dean

We need to get you one of those fake noses and mustaches for a disguise. That's one heck of a haul!

Seaducer 5-29-08 fishing report

Capt David Daniels of the Seaducer dropped by the house this evening. He looked tired, said it was a rough day. He got to the nicer water south of the point, put the first bait in, and it got hammered before the mate could even get the second out.

He dropped 2 baits from the bridge while the angler was fighting and they got nailed also.

Triple header within three minutes of throttling back.

They caught two of the three, got 4 baits back out, circled around and got nailed again.

Tagged some gaffers into the box. Landed a NICE 63 lb wahoo. MEAT is there boys.

I did some computer work for him a few weeks ago. In lieu of payment he promised some fish and a report when the time came. The good man brought over a disassembled YFT this evening and the report.

He'd rather have me fishing on his boat, and chastised me for not booking him for three days, but at least he'll share info.

BTW, I'm keeping the TD's to myself.....HAHA
