Hello All,

I guess TBR is BIG TIME as I just got an email from CHKD that we have been added to the website.

Fund-raising Events - Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters Health System

Thats a good thing!! The money given to the hospital for charity was always what this has been about. Of course the fishing is a big plus!! Mark

Chris,

CHKD in the nicest possible way explained that they have one of the largest fundraisers that weekend so it would be "really hard" for someone to come down and get the check.

I'm thinking that's probably better anyway as the TBR account is a "internet banking account" (Charles Schwab) and the checks won't be deposited in time.

Maybe we can try to plan a afternoon lunch with some local guys and see if we can get a CHKD person to come down at that time.

With my CG auxillary job, I have all the local newspaper contacts. I am sure I can get a picture and short story published.

Yes I plan to get a picture put in the paper after the fact... Never really thought about putting a picture and a story in before to try to get some more people involved..

Think that could help???
