HOTELS... Who's Booked? And Where?

Hey Guys,

Just got off the phone with Fernando and I guess we all need to figure out what the hotel situation is.

David - I believe you have already booked at the Surfside? I'm pretty sure they said they gave you a 10% discount??

I think someone else booked at the Surfside to???

If there are a few guys already there I am going to give them a call and see if we can get a "group rate." The nice thing about this area is you shouldn't have to worry about people stealing your fish cooler.

Let me know who has booked and where and I will work it out!!!

We are at the Surfside. I believe Trapit is as well? Not sure, but thought I read that somewhere. If you mention that you are down there for fishing, they will give you a 10% discount. When we spoke to them 5-6 weeks ago (not sure about exactly when it was) they said they had a few rooms left for those dates. Hope this helps..David

I am staying on the boat... my crew has a camper and is staying at a near by camp ground.

Dawiggs, blueh20pc, bluewater - Need some local input here. What hotel do you think would work well for guys?

I will make some calls and see what kind of deal I can get, but just want to know what everyone thinks.

Surfside is for guys who want some reasonable luxury...

Finn n' feather is for the cheap guys who just want to fish....

and... Wanchese B&B is for those who want closeness to the marina with some luxury built inn...

These are my three choices for accommodations, close to the marina....

I'm getting some contact info this week for Fruition, whose father will be staying at the new campground in wanchese. I'll post up details unless someone else posts it up for me.

I got an email from Fruition this afternoon and I fowarded it onto dawiggs and he is going to head down there tomorrow in order to get the name of the campground.

I agree with blue h2o on hotels ,etc.... I think the camper deal in Wanchese is "The Refuge" but I will get details and post in the Am.
