Default Silent Auction @ Welcoming Party

Hello Guys & Gals,

I am in the process of trying to line up some "silent auction" items from fishing related companies.

What I am planning to do is at the "Welcoming Party" thursday night is have a table of silent auction items with proceeds going 50% to TBR & 50% to Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughter.

What I was wondering was if you guys have any ideas of companies / products I could contact to see if they would be interested in donating.

I have already contacted and am in discussion with Guy Harvey. They seem to be very interested in donating some prints for the cause.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.

Matt

Les,

I'm not 100% sure how I am going to work out the silent auction if I open it up to people who aren't there. Unless I start the auction a week early and let people online bid, then if the winner is someone who is fishing great, if not then it will go to the person who bid the highest online.

I have also had the pleasure if getting to know another amazing artist Mike Savlen. Mike was really hoping that he would be able to come down to the TBR Fest but he has a wedding that weekend and wont' be able to make it. Mike has been kind enough to donate a few prints for the silent auction.

Checkout his work at ORIGINAL FISHING ART by Mike Savlen

Top Quality Stuff!

Thanks again Mike,

Matt

Okay......since the Venice, La trip was such a big hit.........NOT...........I'll put up another trip for late June early July depending where my boat is. If it's here in Missiissippi, we will run out of either Gulfport or Biloxi 70 to 100 miles out for something BIG. If it's in Florida you choose the coast. Either the west coast Sarasota, Fl area 70 to 120 miles or the east coast Stuart, Fl area, this will be a tuna trip out to 80 to 120 miles which will put us fishing northeast of Walker's Cay Bahamas.
All of these trips will be overnighters where we will be leaving the dock around 3 pm either and returning sometime late Saturday.
