Default 2008 FairWeather Fest!

Well Boys & Girls it's now into March as the TBR weekend is getting closer and closer, so I think we need to "Step it up a little."

First Things First.

As with previous years we will be using Broad Creek Marina as our home base. dawiggs is going to chat with those guys in order to get the same rates we had last year, or better. But to do that I need to have an idea on how many boats we should expect. So with that being said here's what I have so far.

Registered Members Boats.
1. Jonafare
2. Blueh20pc
3. Offshore
4. Blue Magic
5. dawiggs
6. Capt Fred
7. Trapit
8. NOYZBOYZ

Unregistered Members Who Mentioned Bringing Their Boats.
1. Vettnman
2. CDail28590
3. Prodigal Son

As with before for every angler there is a $50 fee. This goes to the opening night "party" and the rest goes to charity.

I am hoping to try to collect that money ahead of time mainly so I can ask the Charity to be present on Thursday so I can present the check. I would then hope to have a picture taken with all of us.

Hotels, Motels & Places to Stay.

So far I know that Vettnman is staying at the Surfside Motel in Nags Head. Has anyone else booked? The sooner the better guys, so let's make sure you get it locked in. I have posted below (in another thread) a few places that would be good to stay at.

So who's missing? Who fished in previous years that you guys would like to see that might have missed TBR? If you can think of someone go get them! The more people the better!

More People = More Money for Chairty!

Matt

Just a thought, if you mention to the desk clerk @ the surfside that you're there for fishing, it's a 10% discount.

I am finally able to confirm that I will be coming to NC to fish. Hopefully the yellow fin will be there like last year.

I'm looking for 2 semi knowledgeable crew, otherwise I'm gonna hop on Vettnman's ride with my boy for Saturday and Sunday....

I need crew!!!!

Also, I burn 50 gallons per day, avg. And that's with 300 lbs of tuna in the box on the way home....!

All tackle included, just bring yourself, and plan to work hard....

Hey, don't go jumping ship Chris!! We need all the help we can get. I'd really like to see what 300 lbs of tuna does to my fuel mileage!!
