Jason,

I just got back from SC so I'm a little worn out. I will be in my office most of the day tomorrow so I will work on the hotels.

I'd like to see if maybe I can get a "block rate" on a hotel and see if we can get a lot of guys in one place.

Let me know what ya'll think, those who were here before where did you stay?

Matt

Colony IV is nice.

Fin and Feather is clean and budget and close to wanchese.

Surfside Motel has nice rooms and jacuzzi's, oceanfront

Clarion and Ramada are oceanfront also.

Just a quick list...

Chris,

Good List & thanks.

My first thoughts were many of the hotels on that list, but I was thinking I will call the Fin and Feather and see if we can get a block rate. Let me know your thoughts everyone.

It's clean, inexpensive & close to Broad Creek.

I think getting a group or block rate is a good Idea
You need to get a head count

Matt how about a house if you can get enough guys together?
I plan on showing up on Thur morning and leaving Mon morning

Jason,

I thought about the house, but it's a tough time to get a house as it's the last week of discounted "cheap" weeks.

Also, I figured it would just be easier to get a bunch of rooms as trying to collect money a head of time for a house would be tough!

True, I would vote against a house.

Reason being, in OBX05, one member put the down on a house for a week. One by one the other six guys dropped out, leaving him holding the bag for the deposit and the entire weeks rent, something to the tune of over 4 thousand.

If the fishing is bad for some reason, people can come and go if they want, and nobody get's stuck with a big bill.
