Not a whole lot to report. Lots of little mullet, croaker, bluefish, and sharks caught and released. The flounder gigging was a bust. Plenty of flounder "sign" everywhere, just no flatties. Plenty of skates and rays(even stepped on a few), but the flounder were a noshow. Might have been the northeast wind that was blowing that turned them off. Anyway, here's a few pics of one of my favorite places in the world. The ferry is tyhe old Capt Alger Willis. That boat can go in some very skinny water and can carry 4 full sized vehicles. The buildings that you see in these pics are the coast guard station that was based on South Core Banks at Cape Lookout way back when.
