So far as telling folks my 'super secret' way of getting the starter out and scaring off some potential sale: I'll put it like this...I paid $700 for a car that blue-books for somewhere around $3200. At that price point, I use the 5 pound hammer and the Sawzall more than I use wrenches

Forces me to put a new part on when the old one is beat to an unrecognizable pulp by the time it hits the driveway.
Might just sawzall a hole in my floor and work on taking the transmission out while I sit in the drivers seat
