I was wondering when somebody was going to pick up on Al's little comment.
Because I forgot to put the rubber bungs into the kill tank drain pipes. The kill tank holds about 15 gallons & is under the square hatch in the floor in front of the transom. .
The tank is designed to be half filled then closed. Fish are brainspiked then bled in the tank before going into the brine mix in the cooler. Keeps the cooler brine clean & stops lactic acid buildup in the fish which can affect eating qualities.
But we didn't catch any fish although Big Al dropped two. It was still a great day but the wind is howling now. 50 knots last night.
