I heard about this yesterday but was trying to get the full story. Went over to ReelBuzz and checked on the Poachers Message Board and he's what happened.

This 25ft center console tried the inlet on Fri and didn't fair very well as you can see. Hope no one was hurt,really don't know what the outcome was. I do know that the inlet was closed out all-day on Fri with most of the offshore boats running down the sound to go out Hatteras inlet.

Ron was coming in the inlet on Friday and saw them sitting on the top or rather make that the bottom of the boat and went over and picked them up. It was their first trip out on the new boat, they saw the swell as they approached the bar and turned to come back in and it rolled them. Just a bruised ego.
