Mark, even though the sst was scattered it did look like that eddy was broken off so we said screw it and ran south.
Got a really late start because of early morning confusion and didn't start draggin until 10:00! Ran the beach and enjoyed the ride but once we got near the tower, the seas picked up considerably. It was a little nasty but once we found the warm water, it got better. Fished a 63/71 edge with one other boat pretty much all day and nabbed some dolphin. Biggest was 32#. Smallest....well see the picture
. LOTS of scattered grass and hardly any marks to be found. We ended the day in some 76 degree water and a mystery bite. Good to get out there but it was a slow day...
