Hey guys, quick rigging question. When do you use spacers so your hook don't go too far up in the skirt? For example, Rigging an Ilander with 8/0 hook. Would I use spacers when I plan on trolling a ballyhoo on that hook. Or would you only use spacers only if you're trolling without the meat? Right now , as a novice, I'm going to guess that you would only use spacers or beads only when you plan on trolling that skirt meatless. Tell me what you guys do. Thx in advance...David
