Pretty much the same part of mine is hitting also. I don't have much hanging down, maybe a inch or so. I was thinking about doing something a little different with mine as I am not real happy with the way the boat loads on these. Mine are just some square tubing for form a V with about 2' of PVC pipe over them. I was thinking of using salt treated lumber to form the V and make it flush with the bottom of the trailer. I don't quess you have ever had the trailer rails scrub on the ramp? Mine will hit on the dirt at my ramp at the house but I am not using the actual ramp part as I am putting off on the side on the beach area and there is a build up from the beach to grass area.
