As for trickier swapping props out at sea.
Kind of a toss up.

The key for the Mcgard lock has 2 rubber O-rings so it doesn't fall out of your socket/propwrench.
But you can only put the key in 1 way, where a normal nut the socket would go on easier.

BUT, with Mcgard you don't have a cotter pin, it has a locking flat washer.
Getting that little SOB cotter pin out while hanging off that back can be a nightmare.

The easiest I suppose would be Merc props with the "tabs" that you can bend back with your fingers, instead of those cotter pins.

I personally hate cotter pins cause I have to take props on and off all day and end up getting lots of cuts on my knuckles.
