I've thought about getting one, the Mcguard and from what I have heard, they are good. I wonder though, about how much of a challenge it would be to get off if I ever need to swap out my prop/hub out to sea? I know how tricky it can be with NO prop lock, but imagine it might be trickier with the lock.
I have a Mirage Plus right now and don't have a lock and keep my boat on a saltwater pond that leads out to the ocean but if I were to get a new REV4 or an Enertia, I will get a lock.
